About H.O.P.E. Church
“Transforming the World with God's Word, One Soul At A Time.”
II TIMOTHY 3:14-16
Our Story
House of Prayer Evangelistic Church was founded in March 2022, by Pastor Benard and Lady Trina Crawford. The church started at 630 Minnesota Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas. Only eight months after they began, they purchased a church edifice at 2648 N. 18th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. In 2020, by faith and the miraculous intervention of God, the church moved into their current location at 2940 N. 17th Street, Kansas City, Kansas.
The church operates under the anointing of the five-fold ministry, believing that through the resurrection power of God miracles, signs, and wonders are manifested. H.O.P.E. CHURCH continually strives to serve the community through evangelism, community outreach, discipleship, and mentorship.
Our Mission
Our mission is to reclaim the sinners who have been rejected by those in the mainstream of religion. We are to give them a glimpse of the limitless power of God's love. It is our mission as Christians to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ without compromise. While demonstrating the love, mercy, and compassion of Jesus.
Our mission as Christian disciples is to reclaim that which belongs to God by salvaging broken relationships in families, by restoring identity, love, forgiveness, acceptance, and sense of purpose into our society. People, not prestige, not power, nor money, or any other ulterior motive, will be our mission. For Jesus said, "I came not to call the righteous, but the sinner to repentance." (Mark 2:17)
-
To reconcile the sinner and social outcast back to Christ Jesus. (Luke 19:10)
-
To preach Good News to everyone, including the poor, heal the brokenhearted, open the eyes of the blind, set the captives free, and proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. (Luke 4:18)
-
Through the eyes of Christ, we will not look upon any of God's creation as being hopeless or beyond the reach of God's transforming grace. It is our responsibility as Christians and Disciples of Christ to invite others to receive Jesus Christ as Lord over every aspect of life and to yield themselves to Him as a willing vessel, becoming instruments of praise that will make a positive impact in this world. (Matthew 28:19-20)
